August 2018 / Ashley joins MASS Design Group as a Senior Associate. Her work will focus on advancing the MASS philosophy to "research, build, and advocate for architecture that promotes justice and human dignity" while based in MASS's Boston office.
July 2017 / Ashley's "How to Rewire Learning" work, which researched the spatial implications of a rapidly shifting education landscape, is featured in Gensler's Dialogue 30: The Livability Issue in an article by Sarah Amelar, contributing editor at Architectural Record.
March 2017 / Nominated by her colleagues, Ashley is recognized as '40 under 40' by the San Francisco Business TImes.
February 2017 / Ashley launched a second co-curricular event with Minerva Schools on prototyping for the people!
September 2016 / A chance to rethink high school in her backyard, Oakland. Pro bono work Ashley ran in 2016 helped her XQ Super School team's submission win the $10 million dollar prize. Check out the official site.

September 2015 - March 2017 / Part of a multi-year research grant conducted in partnership with Gensler and Silicon Schools Fund, Ashley prototyped responses to new, learner-centric education models. Early insights from the study.
2015 / The Theatre School at DePaul University, a project Ashley helped realize, wins a 2015 AIA Chicago Distinguished Building Award.
Spring 2015 / In collaboration with Emily Ma and Meg Lee Weir, Ashley co-taught a pop-up intensive to graduate students at Stanford's d.school on Activating Potential in Urban Space.
2013 / The School of the Art Institute of Chicago publishes its first Master Plan in the school's 150 year history. Work was co-led by Ashley and aimed to reveal a campus which was a collection of hidden islands borne of happenstance and circumstance.
2012 / Work co-founding and co-directing Open Hand Studio garnered Ashley a Design Futures Council Emerging Leader award and positioned her as an inaugural member of the Public Interest Design 100.
2012 / Ashley's work with the Archeworks New Practice program earns a coveted Graham Foundation Grant.
2010 / Fast Company honored The Third Teacher, written while Ashley was in the Chicago studio of CannonDesign, as one of their best design books of the year.
